Osteopathy and Franklin Method

David Kellett DO - Osteopath and Franklin Method Teacher

David Kellett is a practicing Osteopath and one of the Franklin Method pioneers in the UK. David trained in Osteopathy at the European School of Osteopathy graduating in 1989. He has been in continuous private practice since. He works extensively with all types of people—from new born babies to the elderly. He has taught at the ESO on both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. His approach in Osteopathy is eclectic and driven by the needs of the patient but he has developed a strong reputation as a cranial osteopath through his gentle work with those techniques. David first qualified as a  Franklin Method Educator in 2004 in London. He continued to study with the Franklin Institute in Uster, Switzerland and graduated in the first ever group of English speaking Level 3 (Advanced) Franklin Method Teachers

David brings to his private sessions and his workshops his experience as an osteopath, body worker and Franklin Method Teacher along with his humour and creativity.

Outside his work as an Osteopath David has a wide range of interests - from reading Sci-Fi to listening to Electronic Music of The Old Berlin School (and making it - badly!) to cooking and eating to 5Rhythms Dancing.

I have always enjoyed understanding how the body works. What makes the body healthy? What makes it efficient? How can we achieve more physically, mentally with the support of our bodies? These are the questions that have preoccupied me throughout my life.  Medical Science, Psychotherapy, 5Rhythms Dancing, Osteopathy and Franklin Method have all helped me to find some answers to those questions. My workshops are about helping and supporting others to find their way into a healthy relationship with their own body and their self.

Osteopathic sessions take place at the two clinics where David Kellett sees patients - 118 Whinbush Road, Hitchin, Hertfordshire SG5 1PN 01462 438622 and 28 Hallowell Road, Northwood, HA6 1DA, 01923 827833. Workshops are held in David's studio at 33 High Street, Graveley, Hertfordshire SG4 7LA. David also offers individual or small group Franklin Method sessions which are tailored to the clients needs. These individual sessions are great for children as well as adults. There are stairs to the studio so we are  sorry that there is not full disabled access. Please telephone David on 01462 438622 or email him at David Kellett DO, Franklin Method Teacher to book or for further information.
